Much like Oriental Beauty Oolong, this tea gets its famous honey scent from bug bites left from “leafhoppers.”

Pluck: Late Spring 2022 / Origin: SanXia, Taiwan / Farmer: Lee Family / Cultivar: QingXinGanZai

Tasting Profile: dark honey, sweet hay, sun-dried driftwood, nutty, baked bread, apricot / Texture: thick, dry, pleasingly astringent

Western-Style Preparation: 4g loose leaf tea, 1 cup boiling water, Steep for 60 seconds. Resteep as desired, adding 5 sec to each steep.

Gongfu-Style Preparation: 4g loose leaf tea, ~110 ml boiling water (perfect amount to use with our gaiwans), steep for 5 seconds or to taste, pour into sharing pitcher. Re-steep as desired, adding 5 sec to each steep.
